Free Granny Square Pattern

I know there are plenty of granny square patterns on the internet but I thought I'd add my pattern which I use for all my crochet granny blankets. I always work the first dc as (sc, ch2) rather than ch3. I find it looks fuller and neater than the ch3.

The pattern is in US terminology. Here's my pattern....hope you enjoy it!

Crochet Hook Conversion Chart

I've added a page with a crochet hook conversion chart.  I'm always needing to look online for one and thought it would be easier if I had one of my own!  Follow the link above or click here.  Hope you find it useful!

Granny Blanket Finished!

I've finally finished crocheting all the granny squares, sewing in all the ends and sewing together the squares of my latest blanket.  It is for sale on Folksy.

Dreary Day Wasn't So Dreary After All

Yesterday it rained and drizzled all day long and it was so dark I had to have the lights on.
View from my window :(

Indoors, however, I crocheted lots of granny squares for my next blanket.

The Silver Lurex yarn I bought from Corkwood Knitting and Crafts on ebay arrived in the post!  It arrived quickly and is just what I was looking for!

I'm using it with white aran to add a little sparkle to the Snowflake Afghan I'm making for mum.  The pattern is from Crochet Today magazine.

So, despite the weather being dreary, I had a nice, cosy day with my crochet hook and new yarn.
